Each year here at Axis Chiropractic we run a Christmas Charity raffle, and Christmas 2018 was no different!

This year we decided to support 2 local Charities close to our hearts, Velindre Cancer Centre and ARC (Anna’s Rescue Centre). We are pleased to announce that we managed to raise a whopping £765 for these 2 great and worthy Charities.

Velindre is Wales’ premier Cancer Centre, providing care, support and treatment to cancer patients and their families

More people than ever are living with cancer – survival rates have doubled in the last 40 years through better treatments and earlier detection. We want to lead in the delivery and development of compassionate, individualised and effective cancer care to achieve outcomes comparable with the best in the world.
We aim to provide the best care, when people need us most.

Anna’s Rescue Centre, a cat rescue and adoption centre, based in the Rumney area of Cardiff. Diane and Laura who both work at Axis frequently volenteer their time for ARC and often foster neglected cats and kittens while they await their loving forever homes.

ARC rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray, homeless and unwanted cats and kittens in to loving forever homes. They personally home check all adopters during the adoption process to make sure each forever home is suited to the individual cats needs and requirements.

Established in 2016, ARC have so far helped over 1,200 cats and kittens, and with your help, that number will increase every day.

In 2019 our very own Laura will be attempting the same journey. We will once again be collecting money at the clinics for this great cause.

If you think you know of a worthy local charity you think we should support in 2019 let us know!!
